Beyond Botanix LLC was started when I decided to take a “leap of faith” and quit my job in February 2019. I always dreamt of exploring the world while learning about all various natural ingredients. I knew life was too short to keep pushing off my dreams. It was either NOW or NEVER. Shortly after quitting my job, I traveled to five countries in six months (Honduras, Columbia, India, Africa & China).
One of the main reasons why I decided to follow my dreams was because I personally struggled with damaged hair for a while. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on different products trying to find a product line that would help hair growth. Nothing worked for me and I almost became discouraged. Relaxers and excessive heat severely damaged my hair to the point of no return, or so I thought. I decided to do my own research on natural ingredients. On top of doing my own research, I earned my MBA degree in Supply Chain Management along the way. In addition to earning my degree, I decided to travel to learn more about cultural remedies for hair growth.
In China, the Rice Water tradition is used as a cultural practice for growing the hair to great lengths. Rice Water has amino acids, vitamins and minerals known to promote healthy hair growth.
In Honduras, Batana Oil is a rare oil that comes from La Moskitia and produced by the indigenous Miskito people. Batana Oil encourages hair growth, repairs damaged hair, reverses hair loss and moisturizes dry hair.

Ayurveda is a practice that is linked to the central nervous system and gut. This means any weakness in the nervous system and digestive system will naturally result in hair loss or diminishing hair growth.
In Ghana, Shea Butter is known to have anti-inflammatory qualities and fatty acids that supplies nutrients to the skin. This helps treat scalp conditions. This will, in turn, strengthen the hair follicles, reduce hair loss, and make your hair grow thicker.
After visiting various countries, my inspiration to create an “intercontinental blend” of natural ingredients was at an all-time high. I created an entire system that effectively improved the health of my hair and scalp. I saw results like never before. Depending on your hair ailment, the treatments may take a few weeks to a few months to yield noticeable results.
